Organizations like the World Bank and World Health Organization monitor standards of living, unemployment, malnutrition, disease, lack of shelter, environmental degradation, international debt, gender and ethnic discrimination, civil conflict, and lack of popular participation in economic and political life. We'll look at each of these areas and highlight ways to be a part of the solution.
