As I have yet to see a swan on a golf course, I can't call this my "swan song"...

I an offering my readers a chance to high light their favorite and not so favorite golf courses. Let me know your picks and invite me to play a round with you on that course. Every course I play will be the topic of an article here at Suite101.

In almost every other sport it is permissable to scream and yell while the players are performing.
There are exceptions such as cricket, diving and archery to name a few but golf stands alone with the magnitude of the silent gallery.

This is my final installment on how to speed up your game using the rules of Ready Golf. It's pretty much painless and every golfer can use these basic rules to the advantage of all concerned.

Part two of a way to speed up your game and have more fun while you are doing this. Life is too short to spend angry time on the course. Relax, use these simple speed up rules and you will find yourself in a better frame of mind.

Their rules make sense and will speed up and inprove your game and your temperment.

There are millions of golfers that receive no compensation for playing a particular course and there are a couple of golfers who can request and receive a one million dollar fee just for showing up. I ask you, is this fair?

Have you ever given your opponent an edge and felt good while doing it only to later wonder if what you had done was the most sensible thing to do. This is exactly what I have done and the opponent is my loving wife.

We were not bending the rules, we were just using a few informal ones to help our game. As long as you are not trying to establish a handicap I see no problem with the use of Mulligans.
