French Quarter

G. L. Tyrrell

New Orleans - The Crescent City - The Big Easy... A city with many names, a city with a rich cultural past. Ruled by the French, Spanish and finally the Americans, New Orleans is known for it's music, food, architecture and yes, its parties. The French Quarter (Vieux Carre) - Treme, Faubourg Marigny, Garden District, Irish Channel - and its residents, businesses, narrow streets, architecture and restaurants host 10 million plus visitors each year. So grab a drink (a "Hurricane" from Pat O's, a "Hand grenade" from Tropical Isle, or maybe a Mint Julep) and
"laissez les bon temps roulent."
