Employment Satisfaction

While I am held back by my own thinking, somebody else with similar intelligence and resources is just getting down to business. They may even have the very same doubts as I do, but they are not allowing those things to hold them back.

Before you can respond to the knocking of opportunity you have to do some work. This cannot be avoided. And it's possible that by doing the necessary work you are actually the force behind the opportunities that present themselves to you.

If you had unlimited funds and could do whatever you wanted in life, what would you do? How would you spend your days? Where would you find meaning in your life? Dream big. Maybe you'll even discover you don't need to be a millionaire to make your dream come true.

We all go through a learning process in life. Friends and family may try to tell you what to do with your life and try to direct your future. Sometimes we listen, sometimes we don't.

Ah, change - don't you love it? It's the one thing that will never let you down. Sometimes we can see it coming and prepare for it. But just as often it sneaks up on us and takes us by surprise.

Not long ago I wrote about how your thoughts or intuitions can give you helpful messages. Your body also sends messages in its own way. Wake-up calls force you to look at your life a little deeper. Something is not working and your body is letting you know.

Our feelings are valuable tools that are often ignored. If you want to know if something is right for you, if you are trying to make a decision, move to a new city, or make a major life change, what are your feelings telling you about it?

Just the words "hard work" have the power to scare many of us off. I have learned, though, that the hard work pays off year after year.
