The rich cultures of SE Asia have reached every area of the globe. Historically, its many influences have been:
- Ancient India,
- the Muslim Empires,
- together with many Western colonial forces.
It is hardly surprising that South East Asia has emerged with a varied tapestry of faith and cultures.

From Imperialist Britain's divisive British rule to independence in India and on to the beauty of the Japanese Tea Ceremony, it is hoped these articles will inspire abiding interest in the history and culture of South East Asia.
Articles range, from fascinating biographical pieces through to all aspects of history of the region, the Vietnamese and Korean Wars and development of the post-war economies and infrastructures.
