For many plant lovers, the smell of a flower is the impetus for creating a garden. Among the unending names of scented flowers are annuals, perennials, shrubs and even trees to feed the need for fragrance.

Scented flower gardens may be put together with winter flowering shrubs, dramatic tree peonies or with the quintessential smell of lavender plants, an herb for any styled garden.
