What Vincent? by Carolyn Watson.
Carolyn Watson is presented as one of the 'Women As Mural Artists' in a series of articles which takes a brief look at the predominant themes chosen by female artists and how much they are influenced by a sense of social justice and why. Because it is so difficult for women to be successful in such a radical and difficult field I will be asking the question: How much government funding and other kinds of support have been available to each woman?

BELL AND HIS TELEPHONE

MerleFest Revisited
Just over two years ago I wrote an article about MerleFest, an annual music festival in Wilkesboro, North Carolina featuring mostly Americana style music. This year I was fortunate enough to attend my fourth consecutive MerleFest and just like my previous three visits, the experience did not fail to amaze me.
