OPINION: It's Enough to Drive You Bonkers
On May 8, a truck driver on the Ohio Turnpike called in a report that a woman who had just passed him was driving with a baby on her lap. When Catherine Donkers of Michigan was stopped by a State Trooper, she claimed her husband, Brad Barnhill, was responsible--even though he wasn't in the car. The case was tried in Portage County in August. Donkers, who was found guilty of several misdemeanors, including driving without a valid operator’s license, child endangerment and failure to comply with the order of a police officer, has since appealed. I say, it's enough to drive you...well, you know.
