All about Apples
This is my favorite time of year. The weather is changing, the colors are popping and the food is absolutely comforting. One of my favorite fall activities is to take the kids to an orchard to get fresh apples and cider and pumpkins. Usually there is a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and a corn maze. These things are just how I define fall. This season, I decided to experiment with apples. My husband is not crazy for apples, my youngest son adores them, so I decided to try some new apple recipes and share them here with you. There is a recipe for how to can apples (if you want to can them and put them up for winter) and a recipe for traditional apple pie. I discovered there are hundreds of ways to fix apples so I am just going to share a few with you here.
