Katakolon, Patras and Ferry to Ancona: Millenium series 24 Our departure from Greece was a pleasant experience, as travelled to Patras, an interesting and busy seaport. Here we caught the Super Ferry which was more like a cruise ship, with all the amenities, for an overnight cruise to Ancona, Italy. Ancona is also an interesting place and on arrival we had a pleasant encounter with the Italian soccer team. Our hotel was lovely and our overnight stay pleasant.
