Zachary Herrmann is proud to be a part of what looks to be the next Lost Generation. He is a (recent) graduate of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism and the school's independent, student-run newspaper, The Diamondback, where he was a senior staff writer and arts editor. Given the sturdy nature of the journalism industry, Zachary is mostly unemployed. However, said unemployment allows him to continue, virtually unfettered, in his never-ending self-education: a stiff diet of classic films (and a few new ones... they're not all crap), pop music (new and old) and Philip K. Dick's entire back catalog (OK, so that one isn't never-ending). In his spare time -- which as mentioned before, he has plenty of at the moment -- Zachary also contributes to fledgling music magazine, BLURT (formerly the esteemed HARP magazine). |
