Kelly Killian

Kelly is a foster and adoptive mom as well as an advocate for foster care and special needs children. She is active in her church as a Sunday school teacher, Shawl Minister and attending Lay Ministry classes.

Kelly enjoys knitting, baking, cake decorating, gardening and reading, especially Christian fiction.

Kelly began writing in high school, majored in journalism in college and has been a blogger on adoptionblogs.com since January 2007. She wrote the book "The Adoption.com Guide to Adopting from Foster Care" which was a best seller. She is a contributing author to busymommy.us and associatedcontent.com.

Kelly served as the Administrative Assistant for the Attachment & Trauma Network for three years, and now has a more behind-the-scenes role to devote more time to writing and her family.
