Zakiya Lathan

Zakiya Lathan has worked in broadcast news as a web producer and online journalist for CBS affiliate KTVA-TV in Anchorage, Alaska. She has also produced newscasts for the Anchorage, Alaska FOX affiliate KTBY-TV. 

Zakiya has served as editorial director for two special publications for Anchorage Publishing: Cuisine Scene and Guide to Ride. She has also written articles for the Anchorage Press Newspaper in Anchorage, Alaska.

She has a B.A. in English, with an emphasis in writing, from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.  Zakiya is a writer who is fascinated by technology, gadgets and the online environment.
