Hello, I am a college student and avid reader trying to broaden my horizons as a writer. I´m studying Foreign Affairs and Women´s Issues, and plan on getting a Master´s on Journalism.

I have been an editor and writer for my college newspaper (The Collegiate) for two years, and have also been writing book reviews for The Grand Rapids Press, the local newspaper, for almost a year.

I have won a number of awards from Grand Rapids Community College, the Michigan Community College Press Association, the Michigan Press Association, and even the American Model United Nations.

I have done stories and interviewed a miriad of personalities; from students, to the College president, and local business owners, to Eve Ensler, Stedman Graham and BD Wong.

I´m still learning, but I plan to become a prolific, well known and influential writer!
