I have been professionally involved in the aerospace field for 27 years, most of that time in the linked areas of guidance, navigation and flight control. I am particularly interested in the theory and technology of spaceflight, as seems fitting for someone who grew up during the Apollo era, and I've never gotten over the raw hero worship that comes from being nine years old and watching men walk on the moon.

Though spaceflight is my most enduring passion, I have many other interests - scale modeling, history, the history of aviation, and mountaineering, to name a few.

I live in Wittmann, Arizona, with my wife and nine miniature horses.
