Keith C. Heidorn, PhD is the author and producer of The Weather Doctor, a website (http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/doctor.htm ) designed to educate the public about the beauty and science of weather. He has over thirty years of experience in meteorology, climatology, air quality assessment and education. Keith also was a contributing writer for The Weather Notebook radio show carried on US National Public Radio. His book: The BC Weather Book: From the Sunshine Coast to Storm Mountain was released in October 2004.
Keith is the current editor of The Science of Weather on Suite 101 (http://www.suite101.com/welcome.cfm/science_sky ). The topic will look at the science behind the wonders of the atmosphere from the surface to the edges of outer space.
Keith is also the publisher and editor of Living Gently Quarterly,an electronic magazine promoting a voluntarily simple and frugal lifestyle which enhances personal satisfaction and reduces environmental impacts.
