Some might say I've lived an exciting life. I have. I've lived the majority of it in So. California, but I've also lived in Hawaii and New York City. Currently, I live in an 800 square foot studio/apartment on the beach in Southern California. It's small but very bright! There's something to be said about waking up every morning to the crashing waves and the gorgeous blue sky. Even though I loved the grit and edginess of living in New York City, I think the ocean has always been my true soul-mate. It has always calmed me and nourished my creativity. Sitting by the window and reading is one of my favorite past-times.
When I'm not home at the beach, I love going to the movies. I try to see at least one film a week. I also like going to diffferent cafes and restaurants and haunting vintage/antique stores for interesting finds.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Communications and I currently teach at a fashion/design college in Los Angeles. I have had stories published in the Los Angeles Times, Home Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, and Business Week, to name a few.
My goal has always been to live a fulfilling and creative life. Aside from a few detours along the way, I am doing just that. Currently, I am working on a series of short stories.
