I am a freelance sports writer. I enjoy sharing my opinion on sports in an objective manner for one purpose only, profit making. I cannot quite remember how I got into betting, but my first betting experience comes from spread betting and I found my way to using sports exchanges.

In the coming months, you will come to realize that Tennis is my favourite sport and my main analysis focus. I also have an in-depth knowledge of German football and strangely enough Austrian soccer. My best bet comes from tennis and it was one of my first bets ever. I took Ivanisevic at 1000/1 each-way as well as 3 others to win Wimbledon 2001. The decision to back him came from constantly listening to critics in the media about age being a factor for the likes of Sampras and Rafter not to win that year. As it turns out, one of the 4 or 5 players over the age of 28 won that tournament. So far, I haven’t had a worst bet but there are times I do wish I had placed that single bet you knew would win eg laying Justine Henin for a lot more when she was one set up against Bartoli during the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2007.

My favourite tennis player is Patty Schnyder. A frustrating player half of the time she plays but when she does get it right, you see a fine display of tennis and skills. Footballwise, I am a Bayern Munich fan and hopefully they do get things right this season after all that hefty spending.

If you love athletics, then you might know my sporting hero. Gwen Torrence was one of the few sprinters with a fine stride and she made 100m dash an easy feat. She was my inspiration during my high school running period and every time I stepped on the track I get flashbacks of her winning the 200m women´s race in Gothenburg by a wide margin and being disqualified. Other than Torrence, my inspiration as a promising athlete was my brother, his successes on the field made me hungrier for wins.
