Vince Cummings is a writer and editor living in Los Angeles. After a long stint as a travel writer that took him to cities from Seattle to Miami — and about 12 major league baseball stadiums — he has entered into the freelance pool, writing about sports, the arts and other topics. Along with Suite101, he writes for such publications as Loews magazine as well as Mahalo, a Web 2.0 search engine. As an editor, he has worked for Microsoft and publishers of everything from social sciences publications to religious books.
Also a musician, Cummings has played gigs on the Sunset Strip opening for country mainstay Asleep at the Wheel and performed onstage with Paul Stanley of KISS at BB King's in Times Square. An occasional music writer, he has a wide range of musical interests, including jazz, country, Cajun, Irish music and world music.
