Victoria Turton is a UK-based freelance writer, editor and proofreader, with over 8 years experience in corporate finance. She has written a number of articles published in respected UK publications, such as the Financial Times and The Scotsman newspapers as well as providing an in-house editing service for one of the UK's major financial institutions. Victoria is a respected ghostwriter who has interviewed a number of high profile corporate business people.
Prior to this, Victoria worked in the Heritage industry. With a first class honours degree in History from one of the UK's leading universities and an MPhil in Medieval History, Victoria remains a keen historian. Her interests lie largely in the European Middle Ages, from 1050 until 1650, although she admits to a fascination with both WWI and WWII.
Victoria also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and has been an examined member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. She is a certified proofreader, with a very discerning eye!
Victoria also has an interest is Psychology, particularly relating to child and family issues. As a mother to 2 young children, she has some experience in this field.
In her spare time, she pursues her interest in photography, particularly land and seascapes, where she has accepted a number of commissions.
