Megan Sheakoski is the Primary School Feature Writer for Suite 101. She writes and blogs about elementary education topics such as lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management. She has taught many things, from special education in a rural elementary school to SAT Prep at an urban high school. Megan has two Bachelor of Arts Degrees from Wilkes University, one in Psychology and one in Education, and a Master of Arts Degree in Reading Education from Marywood University. She is certified in Special Education K-12, Elementary Education K-6, Family and Consumer Sciences K-12 and as a Reading Specialist K-12. Megan was member of the board for the Northeast Pennsylvania Reading Association and the Scranton Area Special Olympics and is currently an active member of the International Reading Association.
