Victoria Oldham

Victoria is a freelance writer from Southern California, currently living in the Midlands of England with her partner of six years. She is in the process of her first novel, has published short stories in four anthologies and articles in several magazines. She is an editorial assistant for Bold Strokes Books Publishing, Inc., She has a BA in English and an MA in English Composition and Literature, with specialties in Women's Studies and Mythology.

She has presented papers at academic conferences all over the USA, on topics ranging from the use of mythology in Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon, to the application of Lacanian principles to Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. She has also attended the prestigious Iowa Writers Summer Workshop, and was awarded second place in a research competition at CSUSB.

She loves hiking through the English countryside, exploring the numorous historical ruins, wildlife, and breathtaking scenery, even in the rain. But more than anything, she likes curling up on the couch with a good book.
