Chris Hunt is an avid fly fisher and a freelance writer living and working in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A former journalist, Hunt now works full time to protect public lands and their fishing and hunting resources around the West as the communications director for Trout Unlimited's Sportmen's Conservation Project. In 2002, Hunt won the Dolly Connelly Award for Excellence in Environmental Journalism, and over the course of his career as a journalist, he won slews of awards from the likes of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Associated Press, the Idaho Press Club, the Inland Newspaper Association and the Pacific Northwest Newspaper Association. Today, he works with fellow sportsmen conservationists to keep important fish and game habitat in the West intact for future generations of sportsmen and women. |
