<p>Kendall Defoe finished an academic career with a master's degree in English literature and now aims to do more with his computer than play solitaire. He lives in Montreal and is interested in improving his French to the point where he can really enjoy everything this amazing city has to offer.</p> <p>He has had a long interest in music from the seventies, as he was born in that decade of afros and polyester and had to sport both an afro and polyester suits. He never thought that he would be writing about the decade that will not die a peaceful death. He is also interested in film, theatre, travel, food, literature, pop culture, and anything else that catches his mind's eye.</p> <p>He hopes that his web page is informative and interests those who were born in that decade, those who wish that they were born in that decade and all those in between who have the same intense interest in punk, glam, progressive rock and the beginnings of rap and new wave. He also hopes they read the pieces related to his other interests. There is a lot that needs to be heard and written.</p> <p>Kendall hopes to grow his afro back one day.</p>
