For some years she worked as a freelance writer to fund her training in colour therapy and life coaching.
Elaine has a special interest in holistic medicine which has fed into a general fascination with the integral nature of life and holistic spirituality. She was ordained as an Interfaith Minister in 2000, and edited the seminary publication. Following her ordination she did a further 2 year training in Tibetan Buddhism.
After moving around Africa and living in Britain, Spain and Scotland, she now resides in the north of England. Like many writers, she has short stories and a non-fiction manuscript lurking in various desk drawers, as well as plans and outlines for other novels.
When Elaine is not writing she teaches, paints, and conducts ceremonies and rites of passage.
