I started Buddhist practice back in the late 1970's under the guidance of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, founder of Vajradhatu International and Naropa Institute and author of many excellent works on Buddhist study and practice. I presently study with The Dozgchen Ponlop Rinpoche, founder and director of both Nalandabodhi International and Nitartha Institute, and author of Wild Awakening: The Heart of Mahamudra and Dzogchen, and other writings. I presently live in Boulder, Colorado, where I work as a rhetoric instructor at the University of Colorado, do a good deal of professional astrology work, and help Ponlop Rinpoche with various editing tasks.
