Tim Cavanagh

My experience in journalism started with a number of contributions to local community newspapers in Sydney Australia. Since then I have written for a number of national and international newspapers as well defense and maritime publications.

I enjoy being able to communicate through my writing on matters and events that I have a deep passion for. A majority of my articles are based on maritime events in the Middle East and Africa with a particular focus on piracy, commercial shipping and naval operations.
