Born shortly before the collapse of the Berlin Wall, Ben grew up immersed in the sounds of country music and electro-pop. It wasn't until high school that he discovered Kurt Kobain (and it wasn't until even later that he learned Mr. Kobain was actually dead). Since then he has embarked on musical exploration, quickly assimilating anything and everything he hears. Though his tastes are always evolving he still listens to a-Ha, but only when no one is near-by. His favorite genres are alternative, punk, and ska. He is currently attending a liberal arts college where he studies writing and illustration. His spare time is spent reading comics and learning to play guitar. His dream career is working in the field of graphic fiction while persuing music journalism as a Plan B and becoming a Rock n' Roll Ska Superstar as a Plan B-. |
