Born in Coffeyville Kansas, I spent most of my life growing up there until 1989 where I moved to Independence Kansas and completed my high school education. After high school I moved to New Jersey where I studied modeling. In 2001 I moved to Oklahoma and then recently back to Independence, Kansas where I currently reside with my husband.
I started my writing career January 2000 and I've published more than 220 reviews and articles since then. I have interviewed such authors as Karen Kay and Robyn Jackson as well. I also write under the pen name Shyan Marie and my novel "The Generation" is currently in works, and is expected to be complete by the end of 2007.
Aside from my writing, I am also a full-time mom and step-mom to 4 wonderful boys and a girl.
