I was born in 1966 at slightly less than 22" tall, and have grown considerably since then...
Linda Clement, parenting coach, writer, speaker, umpire, mother of 2 teenage daughters...
Linda has been writing for parenting magazines (including New Beginnings, Island Parent Magazine, Home Educator News) and websites (www.raisingparents.net, www.itcpnwr.org, et al) since the last millennium.
An avid reader of all things psychological, a proponent for intelligent parenting and the inherent value of all people, and an opinionated woman, Linda is a member of International Training in Communications, the past President of her Victoria, BC Club, and a public speaker with as much enthusiasm as irreverence. Also, a softball fastpitch umpire and La Leche League Leader of 15 years, this author writes and speaks on topics ranging from parenting to driving, orderly business meetings to the psychology of marketing and motivation.
More an avid post-generator on email lists than a regular blogger, you can view Linda's Blog about parenting at Linda's Blog You can join her at yahoo groups unschooling_canada and homeschool-ca, where many other brilliant writers talk a lot about... oooh, everything, sometimes including children and their education.
Linda, also a poet and playwright, is currently writing: a teen novel, more or less sci-fi kind of developing into a mystery; a murder mystery screenplay; a homeschooling book called Life Immersion, or Ya Live, Ya Learn; a nearly-self-published version of the Tao te Ching for mothers, called The Way & The Power of Mothering -- meditations on mothering, balance and the Taoist Way; a parenting course called ThriveParenting(tm), and probably; the new Bylaws for the Victoria#90 ITC Club. This week. A bit ADD, she tends to change direction several times a week... day. Hour. Minute. What?
