I have travelled extensively and have lived in Singapore, England, Australia and Canada. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of King’s Collage in Halifax, Nova Scotia and then went to England where I trained as a Montessori teacher and then taught for three years. I then went on to do a post-graduate teaching diploma at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England before moving with my new husband to Canberra, Australia. I taught preschool to grade 6 as a substitute teacher for a couple of years before starting my most rewarding job as a stay-at-home mom. I have run my own day-home, tutored privately as well as been an instructor for a tutoring company over the last few years. I have recently moved across the country and now live in a small town in Nova Scotia with my husband and three children. I stay active in my family’s activities and volunteer whenever possible at my children’s school with classroom activities and reading programs.
