Susan Wingate is a novelist, poet, playwright and journalist. She lives in WashingtonState and writes full time. Susan has written three novels and is currently working on her fourth. Her latest accomplishment comes at the end of writing her third novel, "The Last Maharajan." An excerpt from this novel can be found in the Superstition Review, an ArizonaStateUniversity press publication. She is a contributing writer for Seattle's publication of The Builder's Journal, a national magazine. Since the 2007 publication of her mystery novel, "Of the Law," Wingate has kept busy teaching classes at writing workshops. Her poems consistently receive awards and her short stories and articles can be found in many magazines, journals and reviews. Wingate publishes a quarterly online newsletter called, “Sincerely, Susan” and has a readership of close to one thousand subscribers. Currently, she organizes a reader’s evening for regional writers at the San Juan Library in FridayHarbor and for hobbies she cooks, paints and reads. |
