Steven Slater

Somewhere along the road to becoming a writer, Steven Slater realized that he needed subjects to write about and has since made it his goal to pursue as many of his other passions as possible and translate them into fodder for the page. This turned out to be quite an eclectic array, including long-distance cycling, archery, brewing his own beer, painting, carpentry, the culinary arts, screenwriting and studying comparative religion - to name a few.

A native Michigander, Steven currently lives in Chicago, Illinois where he has thus far survived one mugging and almost three years in the fine art business. After earning his degree in English, he wrote freelance for a newspaper covering stories for their Arts & Entertainment section.
