I grew up in a small town, Sechelt. The town is located in Southern British Columbia, Canada. It is known for its breathtaking ocean and mountain scenery.
In May of 2008 I graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
Since the summer of 2005 I have been working on a Historic Fiction. It was this project that opened up a whole new career path for me. In the last year of my studies at UNBC I applied to do an independent study with my creative writing Professor, Dr. Budde based on this novel project. I was really excited when I found out in the December of 2007 that my proposal was accepted by both my professor and the Chair of the English Department. The independent study took place in the winter semester of 2008 and focused on the writing style, grammar, plot and character development of my story.
Throughout the last semester of my studies, I also wrote two stories and had them published in Over-The-Edge, which is the school newspaper. One was an article based on the life and career of Audrey L'Heureux, the former Northern rep of the Federation of BC writers and a friend: The other was a short Children's story.
Currently, I am also writing for EduBook, helium.com, IRM Consultants and Outdora. Writing is my passion. I really enjoy writing about almost everything, especially history. I am also looking forward to the day when my first book is published.
