Thomas Jackson

For four years, I worked for Forest of Dean Community Radio Station. In this time I co-presented a sports show called “The Verdict” which became a weekly show on Friday lunchtime. In the show there would not only be debate on the most hotly discussed sports topics of the week but also guest interviews with stars such as John Emburey, Steve Rhodes and Mike Parry.

Since May 2009, I have been a co-owner in the new venture Gloucestershire Cricket Radio. This internet radio station was set up by myself and two friend with the aim to provide live ball-by-ball cricket commentary of all of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club LV County Championship games, both home and away. Therefore as well as writing sports articles, I also commentate and analysis sport. The website address incidentally is www.gloscricketradio.co.uk.

I have a deep passion for all sport. I am a keen cricketer representing Chepstow Cricket Club since the age of 11 and have been involved in county trials. I am a keen supporter of Hereford United. The thing you may come to find is that I have an opinion on almost any sporting topic, from American Football to the Olympic Games.
