Spencer Anderson

Spencer Anderson graduated from the University of Victoria in 2008 with a BA in Political Science and Journalism. While at UVic, he was a regular contributor and later Opinions Editor of the Martlet, UVic's independent newspaper.

While at UVic, he sat as a director-at-large for the Undergraduate Politics Society, and attended the Canadian Political Science Students Association's annual conference in St. John's, Newfoundland.

He has also written freelance and staff reporting for the Comox Valley Echo in Courtenay, B.C. Academically, Spencer's writing has been published in the On Politics magazine, as well as campus papers across the country.

Areas of interest are Canadian and American politics, electoral reform, political economy, environmentalism, technology, film, books and the performing arts. He currently lives on Vancouver Island.
