Sophie moved to California from the UK in 2006 and is enjoying the long sunny days! She enjoys travelling and seeing more of the world.

Sophie's first passion is writing. She has been writing just for fun for years and enjoys expressing herself through the written word. She has kept a diary since she was 13 years old. Her first article was published 2 years later when she was 15 years old. She holds a BA (Hons) in English with Sociology and an RSA CELTA certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.

Sophie keeps up to date with current affairs around the world, which is sometimes reflected in her writing. She looks forward to sharing her experiences with other writers on Suite 101.
