Should I buy bulbs or buy a horse?
The dog days of summer got me wishing for spring this week. And, that reminded me that it is time to buy bulbs for the garden. However, my daughter has other plans.

For 13 years, I have worked for nurseries in Kansas City. Currently, I work for KAT Nurseries selling plants to landscape companies and municipalities. A Garden Journal, is my current blog about plants at the nursery and gardens I visit. I am a member of the Garden Writers Association. In my spare time I build websites for landscape companies and have a botanical photography business, Botanical Shots.
My husband and I live in the Kansas City metro area with our two children. They either keep us on the go or up nights worrying when they are on the go without us.
