Hello,

My name is Marie Magdala Roker and I am a Parent of a wonderful 6 year old, an Academic and Personal Development Coach and a Certified Breakthrough Parenting Instructor. I support families in their academic and personal development needs.

My passion is helping parents to become more informed and empowered. I understand and can relate to the daily struggles of parenting. Children don't come with manuals, so it's up to parents to ensure that they provide the best for their children.

As a Coach, I help parents to reclaim their lives and students to unlock their academic potential. I am committed to helping build healthy, happy, successful families.

I spent the last 6 years in the pharmaceutical/medical industry and became a Life Coach and a Certified Breakthrough Parenting Instructor when my family's life was impacted by my husband's deployment to Iraq. I quickly realized that in order to help my five year old son adjust to the transistion in our lives, I needed to be an empowered and effective parent.

Being self-empowered has helped my to grow emotionally and spiritually. Through my own self journey, I have discovered the importance of living a life with a purpose.

I don't take life for granted and I am determined to live an extraordinary life.

I am also a Volunteer Pen Pal Literacy Coach for in2books.com, Director of Public Education for Developing Hearts Systems and a private tutor with Tutor.com.

My education and background is as follows:

Education: BA Fordham University

Completing Masters in Health Education at Teachers College, Columbia University

In continuing my personal commitment to lifelong learning: Distance Education Graduate courses in Education at Ohio University.

Coach Training: Schools of Coaching at Coachville, including Graduate School of Coaching and School of Personal Development. Successful Parents and Youth: A Professional Coaching Approach Six-Week Telecourse with PARENT AS COACH ACADEMY.
