Susan Andrus began writing reports of human behavior at the age of six when she wrote a note to her grandparents regarding the development of her youngest brother. Eventually she became an educator, a psychologist, and a freelance writer.
Susan has taught classes in interpersonal relationships, career exploration, and parenting skills. She wrote and published Beyond Mars & Venus: Lessons of Dialogue and Peace, a Buddhist’s perspective by Wordminder Press and edited two other books, The Second Wiseman: A Quest for Liberty and Justice and Group Dreaming: Dreams to the Tenth Power.
Susan has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. Susan likes adventures and is a certified private pilot, a cellist in Symphonicity, the Symphony Orchestra of Virginia Beach, and a volunteer for various civic organizations. She is a good listener and has raised three capable children.
