Susan Kristoff is mechanical engineer by trade, but has a diverse set of professional and personal interests. The glue that binds all of these interests together is writing. Susan loves to write about technical topics, creative topics and everything in between.
On the engineering side, Susan is the owner and President of The Kristoff Group LLC, an engineering consulting firm dedicated to helping small businesses create brilliant technical designs and glowing written media. Susan has over a decade of experience in proposal development, contract R&D, and technical writing for government and commercial clients, and has launched the Grant Concierge service to help companies find the right research grants for their organization. Her technical areas of expertise include rail and vehicle dynamics, crashworthiness, sensors and data acquisition. Susan has authored or co-authored technical reports, conference reports and presentations, articles, web copy and proposals. Susan is a co-inventor for three pending patents on an innovative sensor technology.
Susan uses the other side of her brain in her scrapbooking. Susan has held positions on scrapbooking design teams and has had her layouts published in Scrapbook Trends Magazine, two Memory Makers Magazine idea books, and many online sites.
