Megan Byrnes

My name is Megan and I'm a recent Journalism grad from Penn State University. Because of my interest in the outdoors and environment I also studied soil science and Environmental Resource Management. I spend most of my time as a post-grad working at Ann Taylor LOFT, The Bank of New York Mellon, running, obessing over what I eat, and spending time with my friends, fiance, and my family.

I spent two years during college writing for a local State College newspaper, Voices of Central Pennsylvania, where I was focused in environment. I was also a writer for Penn State Beaver's The Roar, and wrote/edited articles related to the Penn State Community.

I signed up to be a contributing writer for Suite101 because I want to make it a point in my life to keep writing. No matter what is going on in the world, it seems there is always something to write about.
