I am a part-time writer, an avid reader and haunt bookshops and libraries for anything interesting.

I love people watching, rain, the Australian Bush, rain, Art Deco anything, rain, trees, philosophy, history, travelling, hiking and did I mention rain?

I have been a freelance contributor for my local paper covering community events. Talking to people in the community about their passions enriches the experience of living where I do.

Starting from absolute scratch I have recently begun learning to play the piano. My wonderful teacher helps make the experience inspirational and I try not to make it tortuous for either of us.

I've studied various forms of writing at tertiary level and look forward to continuing to put what I've learned into practice.
