I am the lucky owner of a 2 and 1/2 year old silky terrier. She is the most interesting dog I have ever met. I will tell you that she came to me at a time when I was very depressed. I think it was help sent from above, because you could not be unhappy with her around. This dog has more heart than many people I've met and despite her 9 lb. size, she seems to think she is big and bad. She is friendly to all, and smart as a whip. She does act as if she is entitled, to whatever she wants. I must sometimes do things for her own good. like trim her hair. She is a dog whose hair will grow to the floor if allowed, but she hates grooming. I got her from people who bought her for their 4 girls, who apparently overgroomed her. When they lost interest, they gave her to me. I lucked out. Anyway I am always looking for others to share with about dogs and their interesting habits. That is why I signed up. Jeri |
