As an aspiring writer, I'm in my "second career" and having the time of my life.

My work is published mainly on the Internet, along with a few items in print publications. My credits include a story published in a WWII Veterans periodical about my dad's experiences as a POW, and my introduction to the classic "Edison - His Life and Inventions" has been published by Barnes and Noble. I've also had pieces published in Golf Digest and Prevention magazine. I write a monthy golf article for the Inyo Register, and I'm a member of the Writers' Bridge association of freelance writers.

I've worked in management, as a technical instructor, and training supervisor, and I have an MS and BS in Business from Pepperdine University.

My life in shiftwork began as a hydroelectric plant operator struggling through a rotating schedule. Today, I enjoy helping shiftworkers find that special routine that allows them to live their lives as fully as possible.

My "outside" interests include hiking, fishing, mountain biking, snow skiing, and golf.

I hope you find my work interesting and useful.

Contact me at sweistling@yahoo.com
