Sharon Russell

Currently a freelance writer, Sharon has worked as a technical writer in the high tech industry for over 15 years. Prior to that, she managed a program that placed volunteers as computer instructors for adults with physical disabilities. She has also worked as a daycare provider, a supply clerk in the militia, and a kitchen attendant at a hospital. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology/English from the University of Manitoba and a diploma in writing from Douglas College.

Sharon lives in Port Moody, BC, Canada with her husband and two teenage children. When she is not writing or driving kids around, Sharon spends her time making pottery, running, canoeing, camping, reading, visiting with friends and family, studying usability and interaction design, and trying to tame her wild garden.
