Shadia Ismail

Shadia is an aspiring writer with a wide variety of interests. Born and raised in the prairies, she has lived in the Middle East where she has witnessed first hand the news headlines that dominated local, national and world media.

She has an Advanced Degree in English Literature and a Degree in Journalism. Her work has appeared in PURE Woman Magazine, Threeohsix.org and Planet S Magazine. She has interned with CTV’s national morning show Canada AM and CBC Newsworld in Calgary.

Currently, Shadia is a journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where her work has appeared on national television and radio.
