Jeff Sue

I work a day job as an IT Strategist, aligning the company's IT organization's activities with the business objectives and goals.

I have worked in the computer-related field since graduating from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1985. After working for 11 years in an IT shop, I decided to use this experience to embark on a consulting career and from 1996 until mid-2008 I spent most of my time on the road, working in many different business environments. Along the way I have built my expertise and used my communication skills to help link the technical with the business side of many different companies.

In my off time I have spent countless hours taking part in the extracurricular activities of my kids. This dovetailed with my love of photography by allowing me ample opportunity to take thousands of pictures of the marching bands, winter guard, and winter drumline teams. This also included many hours of post-processing of pictures on my computer at home, and also included editing videos for the end-of-the-season video from these pictures, putting them to music and presenting them at the banquets. This work was all done on computers that I built myself - something which I found to be fairly simple, rewarding, and usually cheaper than buying a similarly-configured pre-packaged system.

I have many different interests outside of these as well. I often think of myself as an observer and reporter.
