Karyn Moran Holton is a young wife, mother of four small children, (10, 6, 5, and 1, for those of you keeping count) a nurse, and a lupus patient. She is currently trying to jump-start a repressed writing vocation by stretching her mental muscles along with her finger muscles.<img src="http://www.suite101.com/files/topics/4752/files/karynpic.jpg" align=right>
She has interests in theater, (both sides of the curtain) science fiction & fantasy, humour (the great and unappreciated healing tool), and sign language & deaf culture. She is battling an addiction to the Internet (Who knew?) and she is convinced that there is a Cosmic Connection between sf and fantasy, computers, and shameful puns. (Spider Robinson and Piers Anthony are two of her heroes, with Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams vying for third.)
She is living the tropical life on Florida's Gulf Coast, is currently owned by a cat with a Cleopatra complex, a family of cardinals outside her bedroom, and approximately 14,000 lizards who all believe firmly in The Homestead Act.
Karyn has also sold several articles on parenting, lupus and autoimmune diseases on the 'Net.
