Lisa has over 10 years of broadcast journalism experience in both Los Angeles and New York. She was part of the Emmy award winning team for CBS Sports' Winter Olympic coverage in Nagano, Japan 1998 as well as a part of ABC News' Peabody award winning team for coverage of September 11, 2001.

Currently a freelance journalist, she blogs about environmental issues for ever green on InTheFray magazine as well as environment related travel news on Ecotravel News and has recently started video reports for current tv.

She also writes and edits hiking stories on her website hiking bug.
